P J Edwards complete Southampton Rail Bridge piling for Carillion

P J Edwards have recently completed the bored piling to the new Belvers Bridge, near Southampton, for Client Network Rail. Working for main contractor, Carillion Construction, the 900mm diameter Continuous Flight Auger piles were installed immediately adjacent to the live Southampton to Salisbury railway line. The 20 large diameter piles required for the project were installed on time and within the allowed 4 day drilling programme.
